We have now confirmed the dates for our meetings at The Railway Club, Hillmorton, Rugby for the coming year. Please put these into your diaries and keep an eye on either our Facebook Group or Slim Gauge Dispatches for updates.

As usual, the meetings are on a Sunday, 10th May for the Spring one and 15th November for the Autumn one. The venue is the same, as is the plan for the day. Come along, make new friends, renew old ones and generall natter about American narrow gauge. This date has been chosen to avoid a clash with Remembrance Sunday which we believe will be the weekend before.

One of the modular groups usually bring a selection of operating modules, to assemble a working layout for the day. In addition, members bring along dioramas, in-progress projects and individual models for display and discussion.

Occasionally, clinics are organised by and for members. Recent clinics have demonstrated the manufacture of scale trees and the creation of lightweight scenery. Members are encouraged to propose subjects for future clinics, which are always well received. When clincics are confirmed to be happening and when, they’ll be added to this event notification and duplicated on the Facebook Event in the Group.

Members can bring their surplus models for some individual trading.  In addition,  some commercial traders are invited to attend and bring a wide variety of models and publications.
